Rotten Window Sills?  No Problem

Do you like most people living in Georgia have rotten wood on your home?  Don’t worry in most cases you can easily remove and replace rotten wood.

Here is an easy way to replace an exterior window sill.

Rotten Nosing and Sill

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove the sill with a sawzall.  Be careful not to damage the trim inside

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Install a new sill and nosing.  We use a PVC moulding that will never rot. You may also need to repair the brick moulding trim on the side of the window.
